Introduction
I have a friend who bought an iPhone, but returned it after a week. I asked her why, she said she couldn't find a way to copy contacts from her old phone to her new iPhone. If you have the same problem, let me show you why.
Steps
- Sync the contact on your old phone to Outlook. Most of the cell phone can do this.
- Open iTunes on your computer.
- Connect your iPhone with your computer with the iPhone cable. Your iPhone should be shown in the Device section on the left panel.
- Click the Info tab of your iPhone, check "sync contact with", and choose "Outlook" (You can choose Google or Yahoo address book if you want to sync with them. Select "All contacts".
- Click the "Sync" button.
Tips
You can also sync your iPhone with your outlook calender as well.
