Introduction

Your iPhone can do pretty much anything you can imagine, including radio. There are a few free radio applications in Apple Store. I used to use AOL Radio, but I couldn't find my favorite radio station, KQED, over there. Recently I found another free radio application, called Public Radio. I highly recommend this application.

Steps

  1. You just have to open App Store on your iPhone, search "Public Radio", then you should be able to find this application. Download it to your iPhone.
  2. Tap it to open. The GUI is very simple, straightforward and easy to use. You can browser radio station by state, or you can tap "Local", let the GPS on your iPhone to locate you, and find local stations for you. If you like a station, you can add them to your favorite.
