Also with them with yellow error flags my PC wouldn't shut down untill I held the start/stop button in. I was getting a code 10 error on the CD ROMS. I searched it and found where iTones would cause this. I uninstalled iTones and now everything is back to normal. Is there any way to get around this problem so I can use iTones to sync my iPhone with my PC?

The plastic is thin enough to use the touch screen but strong enough to prevent damage. I would recommend it over the bulky cases since with the plastic screen protection, you can still see the outline and sleekness of the iPhone. If you want to know more, just search the Internet for some term like "impenetrable plastic cover" or something like that.
